Browser-based palette generator with seven harmony rules, WCAG contrast checks and colour-blindness simulation. Built and hosted by us.
Why we recommend it
Most palette generators stop at "here are five colours". This one shows the contrast ratios between them and simulates how the palette reads to viewers with colour vision deficiency, which is the part that decides whether the palette is actually usable.
Strengths
- Free with no account. Runs entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Seven harmony rules, lockable swatches, shareable URLs, and export to CSS, SCSS, JSON and Tailwind config.
Drawbacks
- It is a generator, not a brand system: it has no memory of your brand and will not stop you picking a palette that is wrong for your product. Harmony rules are geometric, so the results are balanced rather than tasteful. Needs JavaScript, and saved history lives only in the browser you saved it in.
