Minimal hand-drawn animation tool for traditional frame-by-frame work.
Why we recommend it
Deliberately small in scope — it does raster and vector frame-by-frame animation and little else, which makes it the least intimidating way into 2D animation.
Strengths
- Extremely lightweight and fast to learn
- Clean, uncluttered interface
- Both raster and vector drawing
Drawbacks
- Very limited feature set — no rigging or advanced tweening
- Not suitable for long-form or complex productions
- Basic export options
