Why we recommend it
Most pick generators give you a fixed blob with a point on it. This one builds the outline the way a pick is really specified — tip, shoulder and back radii joined by tangent arcs — so a 351 looks like a 351 and a Jazz III looks like a Jazz III. Then it gives you the controls a player actually thinks in: tip radius in millimetres, a gauge ruler labelled with picks you already own, a magnified edge cross-section drawn against a .010 string, and a nozzle-aware design check. Keep in mind
- Parametric, not sculptural — hand-carved contours still belong in CAD. Engraving is raised only; there is no recessed engraving. The thumb dish and grip holes cannot be combined, because they scoop and drill the same patch of the face. Very thin picks with many holes will score poorly for honest reasons (they crack). The 3D preview needs the three.js CDN; offline, only the 2D drawings and exports work.
