Why we recommend it
MeshOdyssey helps makers preview and convert STL, OBJ, GLB, GLTF, PLY, and 3MF models, create image reliefs, and adjust print dimensions. Processing stays in the browser with a 100 MB safety limit. Format-specific losses are explained; the tools do not replace slicing or mesh repair. Submitted on behalf of the project.
Keep in mind
- Browser-local processing means large meshes depend on your machine's memory and GPU.
- Image-to-STL output is a heightmap relief, not a true 3D reconstruction.
- No account or cloud sync means files and settings are lost when you clear site data.
