Google's seven-course entry-level UX certificate, widely used as a career-change credential.
Why we recommend it
This has become the default first credential for people entering UX. It won't beat a portfolio, but it gives structure and a name recruiters recognise.
Strengths
- Recognised entry-level credential
- Structured, portfolio-producing curriculum
- Cheap relative to a bootcamp
Drawbacks
- Very common on CVs now, so it doesn't differentiate
- Not a substitute for real project work
